2 Cups Flour
1/4 Cup Salt
1/4 Cup Water
Knead the dough, and, Voila! Add a little more water as needed.
We store ours in glass mason jars and it keeps nice and moist. We also added essential oils to our dough for a little extra fun with the senses. Oh, and you can't forget to color it (with gloves, or you'll have stained hands for three days like me!), just add as much food coloring as you want to get the results you're looking for. This definitely isn't the perfect playdough, but it works, it's fast, easy, eco-friendly and my toddler doesn't really know the difference anyway. Have fun!

There is a better recipe. I don't have the recipe on me, but do a search for homemade playdough. It has flour, salt, water, cream of tartar, oil and food coloring. It will require you to cook it on the stove. This recipe elimates the stained hands and also reduces to almost nothing, the lovely salty residue you get from other doughs!
